What themes do people want to see in Skyrim? We saw a great many in Morrowind, and quite a bit less in Oblivion. Discuss

Who wants bestiality / molestation?

I'd like to see this thread stay open to show how many people dont care about that stuff. But if even the words themselves are censored I'm pretty sure this wont stay up for long...

The results of this poll are hard to interpret, the way you've designed it.

OP: it would be better if you split it into major categories, then made us pick one (1) of those categories. So, for example:

Civil war focus: political power and curruption, moral ambiguity, clash of social classes, war

OR

Heroism focus: prophesy, free will, individual vs society, heroism (this is what Morrowind MQ did)

OR

Man's vices

etc.

This started out as a great question, then halfway through the answers you got weird with it, and then brought it back to good choices again.

Cant understand why you would have some of the choices you have as "literary themes."

Manipulation fits perfectly with the corruption thingy. I would like to see some brilliant story twists.

Might want to remove a specific option. Bypassing the censor is a bad idea.

Free will. Moral ambiguity. Those are pretty much the only things I want to be themes of Skyrim.

I think a lot of people are voting for what they want included in Skyrim, which is a very different question.

all of the above, I'm not keen on censoring topics or cutting bits out of games just because people don't like them. While some of those may be controversial, if done well they could all play a useful role in the game (like how Oblivion included necrophilia).

Skyrim, like any elder scrolls game, should be a complete world, the theme of that world should involve everything that would make up a world, good or bad, nothing should be left out.
