Answers for Constant Questions

Hello, I myself am a loyal fan of BRINK and will be for a long long time. Ive scanned the forms and Ive seen 2 questions that numerous people have asked.

Question 1--Will there be a demo and/or beta.

At E3(Entertainment Expo 2010) Game Director Paul Wedgwood(Game Director) Say-"Brink is still in alpha stage which basically means that over the rest of the Summer we will be polishing and making sure the game is tip top when it is released..." Basically this means there could be a demo but it is a couple months to early. I'm not saying i don't want a demo i for sure really want one to try out S.M.A.R.T.

Question 2--What game modes are on BRINKS multiplayer.

Remember BRINK is not a Call of Duty game people. BRINK is an objective game which means gamemode's like CTF, of a Seek and Destroy. There is a very small chance there will be a Team Deathmatch or Deathmatch. Referring to ET: Quake Wars, it was a very heavy objective game if you played you know what i mean.

I hope this has answered 2 questions that might be clouding your head about BRINK

Your intentions are good but these questions have already been answered multiple times in numerous threads and in the Compendium Horse made so this was not needed.

At least if you're going to answer questions, give correct answers... I am referring to you saying:
BRINK is an objective game which means gamemode's like CTF, of a Seek and Destroy. There is a very small chance there will be a Team Deathmatch or Deathmatch.

You are right - Brink is an objective game. Unfortunately, that is all you are right about. Not only will there not be DM an TDM, but there also will be no CTF or Seek and Destroy.

No offense H0RSE but Is that a double negative?

No offense H0RSE, but are you sure that all the maps have the same objective type? I mean, maybe one will have things like Search and Destroy (destroying instead of capturing) and CTF (capture data or papers and bring it back to your base or maybe even something like a map with an objective where you rescue someone and bring them back).

Some of that is incorrect.

They have the same game mode, which is objective based multiplayer. Of course each will have different objectives that need to be complete. Team Deathmatch or Deathmatch is not objective based.

The objectives may have CTF or Seek and Destroy elements in them, but that isn't what the question was he was trying to answer. The question was,

"What game modes are on BRINKS multiplayer."

And indeed, there will be no CTF or Seek and Destroy gamemode.

No offense H0RSE but Is that a double negative?

What are you talking about?

Yes, since the people on reality cop shows have usually finished school.

Don't judge anything by the lowest form.

Given that there are other active threads about these topics, and there are some inaccuracies in the OP, I'm going to lock this.

I could certainly see an objective where you need to acquire an object and bring it back to your command post - I could even see both sides trying to do this at once. However off hand it seems unlikely that both the Resistance and Security will need to grab intelligence from the other, bring it back to their respective command posts, and at which time new pieces of intelligence reappear and need to be acquired. :)
