Hey Everyone,

I was pointed to RPG-BlackDragon's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34182 through CorePC's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18677 mod.

Normally, the ReadMe file is very helpful and gives you just the right amount - if not at times, too much! - information. However, with this mod, I'm left wanting more.

Any chance someone could point me in the right direction please?

It's all to do with the installation. The mod only has a single folder within it's archive, a folder named "trees" and then the ReadMe states this under the Install heading:

Copy all folders in Trees and paste them in your Oblivion-directory by Trees.

So am I meant to just dump the "trees" folder in the .\Oblivion directory, or is it actually meant to be dumped in the .\Oblivion\Data directory, or even, is it meant to be dumped in the .\Oblivion\Data\Meshes directory??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The new trees folder belongs in Oblivion\data (it's *.spt files - speedtree).

Really?? Is that the general rule of thumb for SPT files do you know wetblanket?

Its just that I haven't come across SPT files before, so I was taken aback a little because I know of all the things I've read about trying to keep your 'Data' directory clean and tidy and all that.

Hmmm, cool. Ok, well thanks heaps for that ... off we go then!

That's because they're packed in Oblivion - Meshes.bsa In a normal install any spt files you see in Oblivion\Data\Trees are mod-added.
