I Would just love coming to a town sitting down in the local tavern and after a while a guard runs to me and says: Hey! You! You are the Dragonborn! Quickly come there is a dragon outside! And then i would walk outside guard would walk first and the dragon would like just step on the guard and scare the F*** out of me.

BTW: How hard is the dragon hide in this game? Is it easy to pierce?

Best question ever asked here.

I know you're the dragonborn, but I think I'd like to see some really powerful ordinary dragonslayers to be able to defeat them on occasion, or at least in groups. I mean yeah, they're super tough, but there's no rule that only the Dovakhiin can do it right? I mean if they are really skilled and lucky and manage to come close to killing one, is the hand of Alduin gonna come and squash him because he's not the dragonborn?

No todd howard is gonna show on screen and be like :nono: UHUHUHUH You are not the dragonborn.

That's interesting, but I remember dragon shouts are not magic. They can't be silenced.

Silence doesn't just stop magic. Its in a book that silence can be used to quiet the overtalkative wife as well. And since thu-um is the power of voice, if one can not use their voice, one can not use thu-um or a dragon shout.

Silence would be a godly spell if it ends up being that way...it may be possible that dragons have a way to resist silence, but the basics of silence is to make it so that the enemy can't talk. And if dragons can't talk, I think its fair game to assume they can't breath fire or fly.

They better defend their own town, because my first character plans on staying away from such fights.

I'd like it if when peasants ran to the woods to hide from a dragon attack, when they came back they actually looked cautious and scared instead of there normal walking back like nothing happened.

This would be nice.

Somewhere I read the definition of a hero is "the only one that dies." And if you think about it, that's a pretty good definition. So if I'm playing a neutral or good guy, then I'm going to approach the game with that definition of a hero; so with that in mind the guards should do their job to their best ability (protecting villagers) and then if I show up get the hell out of there and let me clean up as I cover their retreat.
