Don't feel bad. I didn't realize it was the same until fairly recent, either, when I found a video comparing them.

In the trailer, there's a section of music which sounds like the Morrowind theme even in terms of its pace (right after the dragon shout.) It's louder, though.

Yeah its either too loud or too fast to fit as exploration music. Maybe they could make a remix that fits into the game better?
