using an uncapper would also be nice, but I'm no expert on those...

I know about the classic elys' uncapper, but I've heard about some new uncappers using obse 19 lately and I was seeking advice from the community

I personally endorse AVUncapper. In fact, I'm working with JRoush to fill out the feature set, and release a "good defaults" ESP for use with it. The only downside to it right now is that it's really a modder's tool, you need to create your own ESP to activate it; that should be resolved within the month.

If you're going to set it up yourself, by the way, I strongly recommend not raising the basic advancement cap for skills over 200, to leave headroom in case another mod gives you an ability bonus. (Breaking 255 wraps you to zero...)

great news! I see there's already a configurable .ini available with suggested settings which looked kinda foolproof, but official support from tejon is better still

And keep in mind, all changes for resistance/weakness effectiveness work for all - NPCs and PC.

Thanks for the link. I personally use Elys' Uncapper but AV Uncapper looks great. I will definitely try it.
