The Most Beautiful Glitch Ever

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 11:46 am

Loaded up my game today and it froze, i thought i was having a CTD caused by some mods i installed but instead the game started back up and everything looked the way the painting in the Cheydinhal quest did. It really was quite beautiful im running several graphics mods and hoping i can detect the conflict between them.

All Natural
Natural Environments- Only the ambient sounds, critters, and sky textures
Immersive Interiors
Animated Window Lighting System
Oblivion Graphics Extender
Oblivion Graphics Extender Shaders
RAEVWD-View distance mod
Oblivion Stutter Removal

I believe the issue is being caused by overlapping textures between RAEVWD and AWLS or between OGE and many of the other textures.

A screenshot of what you're talking about would go a long way. AWLS and RAEVWD can't overlap in the way you're describing.

It seems that result cannot be repeated now i am met with a black screen that does nothing. Ill keep trying to get you a screenshot. Everything is very blurry almost as if there were two of everything and they were offset just a fraction of an inch or that i am playing on the wrong resolution. I know of some graphics mods that are made to increase performance on some machines perhaps i downloaded one of those by mistake?

Edit:Issue is not with RAEVWD as i disabled it. Didnt get the black screen but i did get that initial pause that made me think the graphics were going to go crazy again but the game just crashed.

Edit Update 2: Problem was fixed once i got rid of Oblivion Graphics Extender. I take it OGE is a resource and the Shaders are the actual mod?

Now what is the deal with Quarl's Texture Pack. It seems to be incompatible with a lot is that why OGE is preferred.

Looks like Bokeh DOF+Crysis DOF+ SSAO+Cell Shader enabled. Not exactly the painting from Rythe Lathandys ;)

You haven't properly installed the shaderlist.txt, or just diable the shaders you don't want in the Menu options. How exactly? Read the readme!

Ah i need to slow down a bit before i install a bunch of mods this ordeal has taught me a lesson about hastiness.

On another note after enabling and disable the various shaders im not too sure this mod is for me. I like some of the shadowing and more vibrant colors but most of the shaders are not really my style. Which ones will just enhance the current graphics rather than reimagine the art style.
