You SHOULD be able to change your hairstyle...

I agree that there should be a barber's shop in the game. You could also go in there to get your hair washed or a shave, although this would only work if hair grows over time in the game and gets greasy.

How about opening up a hair salon eh? Screw the game, let's turn it into a hairdresser simulator!

Changing facial features eh? I can see this becoming a trend among wealthy Nord noble women..

A combination of certain effects of alteration and destruction would do it.
Combined of course with a good knowledge of restoration.

Hmm..

Sums up my opinion, except I would be satisfied without any changes beyond making it available to change hairstyle during the game.

Definitely agree. Also extend to some facial features. It's a game and I'm sure it's just as immersing to the player if they're given the opportunity to change their appearance a tad.

AGREE! Not to mention that most hair options in games like this (I'm talking to you Mass Effect) are not that good to look at. And once you've picked out the one that looks best at the "creation angle", who's to say it won't look horrible during gameplay? Granted, I don't really change my hair styles that often on Fable, but it is nice to have the option. Nothing hurts worse than when you've made your awesome character only to save it and start playing just to realize that there is this one part that's wrong, and now you have to go all the way back and start all over again without the option to just go back into "edit" mode or something.

Yes to Haircuts but that should be it. Race, Facial Features, and Gender should be set at the beginning.

There's some old guy in the broken of part of Rivet City, you have to swim underwater to get there. His name is Pinkerton. He's part of a quest that deals with the history of Rivet City I think, and also the Replicated Man quest

Nevermind, that's changing your facial features :P

NO!! I do not want to be able to change my face! Because then people will complain about not aging and whatnot! And I don't think its very realistic to go from a young, dark imperial to an old, gray Imperial in a matter of minutes.
Leave it at hair - e.g, your hair & beard gradually grow longer, and you have the option to trim it, or restyle it at the press of a button. But then that should be realistic, you shouldn't be able to go from a cropped hairstyle to a ponytail.

Apart from the fact I'd be the one ageing myself,so why would I be complaining?

I wouldn't.....facts.

Your robot butler in your megaton house could do it. I'm sure there are other ways for people who blew up megaton but I don't know them

I really hope to see this in Skyrim.

There were others, like Butch and the guy in Tenpenny Tower.

And me too. I also wanna see a large variety of hairstyles, much more than Fallout

as the title says. I can't imagine role playing a girl without the ability to change her hairstyle lol.

very simple addition to the game, but it'll mean a lot

+ 1 here. I've played most of the Sims games, this is gonna sounds stupid but changing somethign like hairstyle really adds a lot to making your character truely "yours" and making it seem as though he/she wants to change occasionally.

You guys are gonna laugh maybe, but Sims Castaway also let character's hair grow with time. Men could get beards, too. Laugh all you want, but by the time your character (who started with a preppy dove cut) winds up with this big, nappy mess on top of their head, it really adds something to the game.

I'm already picturing playing a beggar/theif with long, gnat-infested hair.

Whoa...someone actually used the search function! We need a barber and a way to change our appearance, if we are given terrible lighting again when we make our character.
