Grow a Beard for Skyrim! #2

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 12:05 pm

But seriously, I hate the things. I like my clean face.

Not a fan myself but I made an exception for Skyrim.

It will be nice being able to see my face again. I look much younger without the grey beard. Though I also have a few on my head now, but just a few.

Heck, working on one right now. Unfortunately, even though it grows mighty fast, it does not at all on my cheeks. My face becomes a painting with a frame of hair therefore.

Aww. When my friends kids heard I was going to shave it off they came running up screaming "Noooooo, Skyrim isn't out yet!"

Now I don't want to for their sake but I'm about done with it myself. Sick of my jacket zipper yanking them out. Finding them in my food. The itchiness.

They just looked so disappointed. :(

My beard is soon 18 years old.. Darn it's short.. Perhaps it'll grow longer once I actually arrive to Skyrim? :)

I've been growing a goatee for the past several months. It's not as big or dark as the one on the villain trollface in my avatar.

I too have a multicolored beard. The sides are redish orange and the middle is black. Did not dye it. But I love it

I have a strange bald spot just under my chin that prevents me from letting my beard grow more than 3 days. I might be able to pull off a soul patch though.

I will have to take a bunch of testosterone to grow any kind of beard. Unless I want a thin mustache and 4 chin hairs. :P

OMG, my head, it looks too small for my body now.

I went from 1.5-1.75 inch hair to a #2 crop and no beard. It freaks me out every time I pass a window (when I am out) or mirror. I wonder who the guy with the small head is. :lmao:

All the kids could say was "wow" with sour face. We all got used to it.

My face is so sensitive to air flow now. The slightest breeze, even from breathing out my noise and it feels like a fan is blowing on it.

Oh well, I'll get used to it again eventually.

Well, I can't really grow a beard, but I'll try... I get whiskers every now and then, if that counts.

I hate being clean shaven. It just feels unnatural. Usually I brow out a decent beard then shave it down to two day growth when it gets too itchy. It's going pretty strong right now cuz I've been lazy for a good while.

Also a note for other gentlemen out there. It seems to be a general consensus among the ladies that goatees are not attractive (crazy, right?). I'd probably avoid shooting for them

I've had a beard and long hair since I was 18.
I haven't trimmed my beard at all for the last 2 weeks, so it was sort of funny finding this thread :)
I'm saving my moustache for a http://www.culture24.org.uk/asset_arena/4/00/4004/v0_master.jpg (obviously not me in the picture), but until I get a decent handlebar going I'm just going to let my beard get in on the action so it might get a bit barbarian-looking until then.

After summer I plan on letting my hair and beard grow for Skyrim, actually. Bring out the Viking genes in me and all that.

Growing my beard, just gotta hope my stealth skill is high enough and I can keep dodging the principal for half a year, stupid high school.

What nonsense. That is indeed crazy, my good sir. I huff my displeasure.

I, for one, appreciate a goatee. Only not too short OR long, thin, crazy-strung, unmaintained, or light. Preferably on someone tall and snarky. Mmmmyesssss...

I, sadly, cannot grow one, for I do not possess the correct chromosome, and have no desire to become a freakshow. I'll just have to continue appreciating them on others.
