Randomly Start Crashing After Sleeping

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 1:32 am

All of a sudden I've just started crashing after sleeping no matter where it is inside, outside, bed, bedroll same thing. Went back to a save where I can guarantee it wasn't happening ant it's happening there to, no mods added used Wrye Bash to check and make sure the mods where the same as that save file which they was and ans it still happens...I've slept I think twice with no problem so this had literally popped up out of nowhere.

My L/O is the exact same as it was http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1163243-dark-upon-entry/ and it wasn't happening then...agh help please!

SO possibly the only thing that changed is the rebuilt bashed patch? Try puting an empty bashed patch and rebuild again. Did you upgrade wrye Bash between the time it ws OK and the time it started crashing? Do you also crash on wait?

You don't happen to have a level-up waiting for you? It could then be the level-up and something triggered by it that cause the crash.

Yeah I probably rebuilt it once or twice and no I ain't upgraded Wrye been on the same one from the start. I ain't tried waiting yet but I'll still a new bash patch in there and see what happens.

EDIT:

@TheNiceOne: Not that I'm aware of no but I'll double check.

Nope no joy, didn't try adding a new bash patch because I tried with it deactivated and it still crash to it will still be the same result even if I put a new one, and there was no level up waiting ether plus not forgetting it's happening on multiple saves so even if it was a level up on one the other would be OK (unless coincidently there was a level up on that on as well) :(

Come to think of it there was one thing I added but deactivated it thinking that was the cause and that was streamline but the save where it wasn't happening is crashing even with that not active

EDIT:

Oh I forgot to add, it crashes after waiting as well.

Turn off autosave on wait/travel/rest if you haven't already. It's known to cause crashes, esp. when using many mods.
