People walking into walls

I'm having a problem where NPCs in cities are continously walking into walls of buildings, and occasionally I'll hear what sounds like someone taking fall damage. I searched for a solution to this problem but every answer I found said to update MMM's Diverse Waterlife, which I don't have installed.

I played all these and never ran into that problem. Is this only happening in one location like a city? Or everywhere in the world? Narrow down the location and find what is altering that. Only time I had anything like this was with City Defenses. DO you have that option turned on in Better Cities?

Hm.. Now that you mention it it does only seem to be happening in Chorrol. I didn't have City Defenses activated but I just activated it and it doesn't seem to fix the problem.

OK, it may be time to post this question in the BC thread then if inside the city walls. If outside it could be bringing the UL patch into play. And then is it all over the city or in one spot? The sound of people falling is what reminded me of City Defences as they would fall off the walls.

I'm playing right now and at the moment I am noticing it occurring near the south gate, at the building where the Ranger's Guild is, at Northern Goods and Trade, and at the Oak and Crosier. So that's all in the same general area. Also, I am using the Open Cities feature. Could that have anything to do with it?

Sounds logical. Switch to closed in the BC options and see. You may be onto something. Check the readme to see where you need to be when doing that (maybe not inside that city) :)
