Aggro radius on creatures

I apologize if anyone had brought this up already. I thought it might be nice if not all the creatures in Skyrim dropped everything they were doing to rush you from wherever they were the second you were within their aggro range. I wouldn't mind a chance to appreciate my surroundings sometimes. I mean, an example might be running across one of those giants I saw the trailer. Normally you'd have no chance to be in awe of its size or anything because it'd be attacking you before you knew what was going on.
I think it'd be cool if different creatures had different tolerance thresholds to your presence. They might put up with you if you weren't aggressive or if you hung around too long they'd attack you. I guess it might make the world seem too passive but not everything attacks on sight, even aggressive animals.
Any thoughts?

It's hard to say, but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that giants will be passive unless provoked, as will a lot of the wildlife. Also NPCs will go into an alert mode before you get completely detected. Not sure how this will carry over onto aggressive creatures.

It might even be interesting if certain NPCs might give you a chance and tell you to "Get lost" before they crush your skull. That's me though.
