Quest Log

I hope that Bethesda continues with the Oblivion style log with quests where the quests are ordered into their own topics instead of a Morrowind style where you have a journal and quests are logged in the order that you got the next part of the quest. The new style is much more efficient and I hope that Bethesda continues with that style. What do you think?

Yeah, the new system they added with one of Morrowind's add-ons (Tribunal, I think) was much more efficient indeed. Then we got Oblivion's throwback that wouldn't even sort them into categories like which guild they were for.

It was almost to organised for my liking, I would prefer the morrowind Diary style, but with the searchable headings that were added with the tribunal expansion.

I quiet enjoyed searching through looking for a quest I know I had been given 3-4 days ago for some info, and coming across old quests that I had completed.

I could track my progress through the game and see what I did when.

I agree. I'm interested in seeing what they've done with the Quest Log.

with Morrowind if I wanted to continue a quest that I had started earlier on in the game I would have to scroll all of the way back to the beginning of my journal and find it Oblivions was more efficient organizing it a bit but i hope that Skyrim will take the extra step with guild quests being separated into sections.

I don't know why they would ever return to the Morrowind method, it was horrible.

Maybe a Fallout style reminder every time you load up the game?

I liked Morrowinds just fine... it seemed more like how a person would really log quests, rather than a video-game's UI.
