Fallout Tactics

I am on the second mission of this game and I am trying to deal with the conditions of getting winded (where you are hit in the torso and you cant run/accuracy is reduced) and being bandaged (you get too much first aid and cant get any more). I've tried using the doctor skill and stimpacks but they do nothing. I tried to rest but as far as I can tell you can't. What do I do if I get these conditions? Also, when one of my team mates had a crippled limb I tried using doctor skill but it said I needed an item, what does that mean? Thanks for helping a noob. I have played through all 3 Fallout games and I couldn't get enough so I decided to play this game. I would say it's fun but it's defiantly not Fallout 1 or 2.

Winded and Bandaged go away after a certain period of time iirc, try roaming around the world map a bit?

I also do not exactly remember but my guess is you need a doctors bag for the doctor skill?

A Doctors bag is the solution to your winded, Bandaged and Other issues.

Maybe my medic squad member doesn't have enough skill, but I don't believe the doctors bag works. I'll try again. If that doesn't I think I'll just try roaming the wastes for a bit.
Thanks.

The Doctor's Bag should work. But in my experience, you need a 100% (minimum 90%) Doctor skill in order for it to work every time. Lower than that and you may fail 2 out of 3 times. It's a pretty demanding skill.

Hmmm I'll try again but I'm pretty sure my medic squad member has 101% doctor and when I try to use it it just says "Does Nothing."

EDIT: Yep, did nothing. Maybe there's a patch I need because when I traveled around the wastes the Bandaged condition stayed. Bugs are so annoying.

Oh. Does Nothing? Not Failure? Hmm yeah, that's entirely different and doesn't have anything to do with skill.

Did some research for you. And yes, it might be a bug. You couldn't use the Doctor's bag on someone with Full Health despite having status effects. I totally forgot about this because I've been playing the patched version for some time now. Try patching to the latest 1.27 version of Tactics. NMA should have it.

Hope that helps.

I'll try it and report back. Thanks for the help. :)
