jail

i always liked in oblivion that you had the option to go to jail, and at least see your character behind bars.
but i think it would be cool if on top of all the other amazing things they are doing with this game, they could mess around with different mechanics that could make your stay in jail a little bit more involving.

what do you think they could do to make jail more interesting? (provided it doesn't necessarily provide motivation for one to go to jail)

Another jail/prison thread, but I would just be happy with Red Dead's time-lapse prison cutscene.

Bigger jails. Lots more prisoners. Maybe gangs...

They need to make it a greater penalyty for going to jail. Since time is irrelevant, the only bad thing about jail was minor skill losses, and you didn't have to pay anything. Maybe more severe skill losses along with correlating perk loss or something.

It can't be too bad. Otherwise people would just reload their saves. I believe there also has to be good things about going to jail even if it is intended as punishment. Perhaps new quests at the cost of slightly larger skill losses?

A lot of jail threads popping up yesterday/today. Honestly, I think the way it is in Oblivion is fine.
