Summoning Daedric Arrows

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 6:52 am

Conjuration skill in TES allows us to summon weapons , armor and Daedra.

I always liked the idea that even if i am caught with my pants down i could still summon a full suit of armor and a weapon on the spot.
Did wonders for my role playing experience.

But being an archer summoning a bow didn't do much for me without some arrows.

A good mage can do everything without any need for gear : fight , heal , open locks , ...

I think it would be fair to give as pure archers ability to summon our own ammo (arrows) if we are given a summoned bow already.
( we do need to burn some of our mana from our tiny mana pools to summon them so it does cost as just as a mage needs to burn some mana to cast a fireball )

Something like "summon Daedric Bow + 25x Daedric Arrow for 3 minutes"
(and it really should be 3 min , not 15 s like Oblivion gave us )

I know that many would want this but apparently if messes with the new archery (a small number of arrows) balance thing.
And i so don't care...

actually , that would be a nice perk, if your conjuration and archery are 50+ your get a
"summon Daedric Bow + 25x Daedric Arrow for 3 minutes" spell or ability

Talking about bows (im a big fan, and always make a bow character including others.) It would be so rad if a summoned bow (or maybe a mystical/mythical/ancient what ever) would use magic arrows that maybe whould use mana or something. So when you pulled the string back a arrow appeared ready to be fired. Not saying they should be any stronger then normal arrows, just that it would be cool and you wouldnt need to go around gathering all the time.

Todd said arrows would be more scarce this time around because they have recieved a big power op so maybe a bow like this would be in one of the big lvl caves/dungeons what ever... nontheless i think it would be so f'in cool to have, but im not counting on it to happen.

a magical Daedric quiver with limitless arrows as a hi tier item , whatever works

nobody minded skeleton key and elimination of lock-picks as a result
why not do the same for arrows ( don't mind if it is hard to get as long as it is an option )

only if the arrows were weak, strong arrows would be ridiculous

God i loved the skeleton key !!!!
Agreed with it being hi tier. Would be so lame if you could get it right of the bat.
Even tho i still want a magic bow more then a limitless quiver !

The strong arrows would be ridicules, but would'nt have weak arrows. Would contradict the meaning of a powerful limitless quiver if the arrows it spawned where right out weak.

Yeah I thought it was missing in OB, don't see why it couldn't be added into skyrim.
