Aberdeen, Scotland(My home, Has large forests & the North sea, mountains & cliffs, large industrial areas, the last granet(spelling?) suburb on earth *I live in it!* basically it has a huge variety of landscape.) On a side note since Aberdeen is the granet city the buildings may have survived: If people actually bothered to nuke Scotland lol
London, England (Iconic city, Very noticeable landmarks)
The hebridies, Scotland (Tribals galore)
Glasgow, Scotland (Already a wasteland :D) "Just joking dont stab me"
Ronto (mentioned in Pitt)

(I dont know any good places in America)

Being from Florida myself, I would love to see Fallout go south.

Imagine a world map that goes from roughly Tampa Bay to Orlando... there could be some kind of water/boat mechanic, beaches. swamps between the two cities and some kind of Disney-like theme park in Orlando, though with a cool retro-50's theme with "future technology" exhibits, which could offer cool weapons and tools.

The whole idea of an evil, ok more evil than normal, alternate Disneyworld would be incredible. There would HAVE to be a nod to "Its a small world" where the anamatronics try to kill you. Plus, if it was in Florida, it would be interesting to see Cape Canaveral... Maybe even steal a rocket to a space station?

Although I consider Fallout to be suited to America due to its subject matter, London would be an awesome setting.

Read through the thread, I'm sure you'll see some ;)

You're probably from the north so I'll make this quick for you...Most of the Deep south is highly educated..at least more than what I've seen from the north...
Secondly..You wouldn't see "backwards rednecks" as that's not only incorrectly written as it would be "back-woods rednecks" but after a nuclear war most people would be a scav. like peoples trying to re-create society using left-over tech. Your name is also Incorrectly spelled out..So it seems that not only is it ironic that you joke about rednecks but you further the stereotype that they are illiterate. "Enclave's Shadow"

now..as for my list

    1. ~Texas~ ( radscorpions, snakes, alligators, brahmin, etc. )
    2. ~Florida~ ( crocodiles, swampy-lands )
    3. ~New York~ ( rats, crocodiles, apartment-buildings, REAL concrete jungle )
    4. ~Michigan~ ( Surrounded by water, marshy land )
    5. ~North Carolina~ ( same reason above. See Florida )

1.) Disneyworld, Florida. I was there a week ago and I thought, "Ha! This place would make a great Fallout 4 setting" I wonder what mutant creatures wander through the Animal Kingdom...
2.) some Carribean island. Probably be a less effected place. I mean, who would nuke the Bahamas? Fallout radiation and nuclear winter would have its effect, but it still might resemble what it does today.
3.) Texas, Texas. I can see it now, the Crawford ranch... I bet it was nuked.
4.) Baltimore, Maryland. Since it is Bethesda's home state, I bet they could make it a lot more interesting than many people know. The thousands of mutant blue crab mirelurks running through the city...
5.) Moscow, Russia. I'd like to see how badly the USA reacted to the city in the Great War.

I hope they can do as well as they did with D.C. in FO3... walking through the nation's very capital, seeing the so important landmarks, it filled me with a sense of awe.

-Portland, Oregon: I'm currently on vacation here, and it seems like a cool place to have Fallout.
-Alabama: One of the strangest states I've ever been to.
-Texas: Houston, Dallas would be cool to roam around.
-Wyoming: Not much, but Cheyanne would be cool to fight in.

Western Europe- Just to see what happened to them.
Australia- Waltzing Matilda could be a song on the radio.
South America- Fighting Deathclaws in the Amazon Jungle would be scary.
Canada- Why not let them have their moment in the sun. :P

Whey necessarily the US? After all, there are iconic '50s sci-fi images from other places.

For instance, Tokyo- you could have twenty-story-tall mutant monsters battling each other downtown.

Or, to go in another direction, how about this: an isolated luxury resort on a tropical island. The population and culture of the island could be a bizarre mix of that of the stranded vacationers, Mob-affiliated owners, and native islanders, with distorted legends about the outside world, and an ocean and jungle both made incredibly dangerous by the radioactive fallout from all of the distant bombs.

1) Texas. I'm from Texas so I wouldn't mind if it got some attention, apart from that non-canonical Brotherhood game crap

2) Aberdeen. I'll agree with Necromancer because I lived in Aberdeen, awesome place! (I know topic says US related but this and my next one are only exceptions)

3) London. Lived there to, but also because it would simply make for such an awesome environment. I already envision a settlement in the ruins of Waterloo station and ghouls overrunning the Underground

4) Colorado. Some real cool stuff there. NORAD, Colorado Springs up to Denver, and maybe a settlement built into that massive tunnel that goes through the Rockies.

5) Maine. Mutant lobsters FTW!

It'd be cool to go to some remote place that wasn't damaged by the war, possibly with a thriving settlement oblivious to the outside world.

The Commonwealth (Massachussets) and Institute (MIT) are mentioned in FO3. And they'll likely appear in FO4.
