What 1.8 Gb limit are you refering to?

On a 32 bit system when oblivion hits memoty usage of 1.8BG (sometimes at 1.5GB) it crashes every time. Mods like streamline that purge the cell buffer every so often help but it will evantuall crash. That is why you have the 4GB and LAA patches, to allow Oblivion to go beyond that. Search the threds.

Ok I did discover a common trigger now. The seems to crash almost everytime I trade with Rasheda from Fire and Steel. It seems to crash after spending more than so much time in the interior.

I really do think that Integration was causing crashes. Because after some testing I can tell that EVERY time I speak with an Integration NPC the game will crash in the manner described after closing the conversation.

I've also used CFF Explorer to increase the RAM cap and I'm working PyFFIing my meshes.

Ok so my stability isn't perfect still but it is crashing to restart far less often now. Though it seems that once a crash of this type occurs it is more likely to happen again unless I give the computer a break for a few hours.

Also, what compression settings should I use when repacking my PYFFIed meshes to a BSA with OBMM?

Preferably uncompressed as you won't have to waste resources on unpacking them then.

Ok thanks. :)

I just use CFF Explorer to set the timestamps back so the vanilla meshes don't overwrite replacers right?

Exactly. Not sure what CFF Explorer is to be honest, but any utility that let's you edit file dates would work.

I'm still tinkering with PyFFI. I think once I get more time I'll just have to spend a weekend getting it done.

Right now I need to find a way to modify spells that I've created in game. I'm using Supreme Magicka and Telekinesis to make custom spells to throw enemies through the air. However, after selecting the spell it's cost is permanently reduced to zero when it adds the SM script effect. Is there a way to change the mana cost of a spell created with the game?
