People who voted for scars to appear as you're damaged must not have played the original Fable. Sure it SOUNDS like an interesting concept until your guy looks more mangled than Freddy Krueger with leprosy.

I have Played all of the Fable games multiple times and i voted for scars to appear as your'e damaged.
In Fable you got scars everytime you fell in combat.
I think in Skyrim you should get scars from combat, traps etc.
But you could have removed them from a Healer of some sort, But it would have cost alot of money or something like that.

As someone who spends alot of time on the "look" of my characters, I don't want anything (Fable's awful "aging" system, hair growth, gaining scars in battle, etc) to change them without my consent.

So, hairdresser would be fine, but nothing automatic.

This.

In the first Fable you only had to get hit to scar brutally, the falling in combat scarring was introduced in the second game. Its a cool idea only in concept. They should just let you pick at the start of the game and alter hair/facial hair with shops IMO.
