congratulations to the team

Ok, I never really was an elder scrolls fan... I just didn't bought the game (5 years ago) because I didn't really knew what it was. After reading super good reviews about the game, I picked up Fallout 3 on release and I LOVED it (except the bad animations, but that's just because I'm an animator)!

But after seeing the trailer of Elder Scrolls 5 I have to admit that it looks like the BEST singleplayer experience EVER! Even the animations are correct now.

Eh, the trailer was nice and all, but it didn't really show anything.

I'll wait till they go more in depth.

Faces are a lot better though.

Hear, hear.

The character anims shown in the trailer were a relief to me, too - especially the rather excellent running animation shown at 0:35 or so.

I think larryandbob was referring to the fact that the OP said "best singleplayer experience EVER", and larryandbob (I think) meant that it is the best videogame experience ever, not just singleplayer.

Oh, I thought he was going somewhere else...

Thankfully that is not the case. I wouldn't go as far to say the best SP experience ever, especially before playing it. Best Action RPG? Probably. But I enjoy a lot of SP games.

The trailer didn't show much? There's basically 2 mins of gameplay footage in the trailer showing many different regions and aspects of the game. There is a lot a person can deduce from the gameplay shown in the trailer.

Thanks for the reactions.

I think the trailer gave us a lot of info but I understand that it isn't much info for core fans.
The trailer is a gameplay trailer and I thought it was cinematic the first time I watched it...so.... yeah... That's very impressive for an open world game.
It can indeed be the best game ever for a lot of people.

Havok Behavior is some pretty sweet tech. It's up there with Euphoria, but Havok Behavior allows more freedom when it comes to animation.

For example, if an NPC is fighting a giant, Havok Behavior adjusts all the animations to where the NPC actually looks like he's fighting a giant instead of a guy who is the same size.
