Just Pre-ordered BRINK (PC) - Some Questions

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2011 7:26 am

Alright so first of all like the title says I am buying the game for PC AND getting a hard copy of the game from EB Games (I'm in Canada)

Questions -

#1 Might be a stupid question since they've always worked... but. Will the Bonus items from EB Games work on the PC version?

#2 Are there any noteworthy differences between the console versions and the PC version?

#3 Can anyone point me in the direction of any competitive clans recruiting for BRINK? Looks like it will become big in that regard (Hopefully)

-------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance for any information, I may find the answers myself but if you have the time to answer those questions for me that would be awesome.

#1 Yes they will!
#2 PC has the capability of better graphics, a much better community, and is in my opinion the best platform to use.
#3 Have you played any other competitive games? If you have, and you are skilled enough, I am currently trying out for team unR eSports. We are looking for a few more players to fill in our spots. add me on steam: beastname

PC has dedicated server options as well.

Consoles have the advantage of few or no compatibility issues.

Not sure the "better community" part is really all that accurate - what I'm seeing of the Brink community looks like it's going to be pretty positive on all platforms. Overall for online games, the PC community is more consistently teamwork-friendly, but with a good game, console players can pull together and be friendly too.
