Archetypes: unlock needed?

Post » Mon Mar 28, 2011 2:48 pm

Well i've already got two archetypes in mind i wanna use:
1. The Bug(for security)
2. The Anger(for Resistance)

Will a few basic archetypes be available to u at the beginning? Or this be one of those games where u start with a t shirt and jeans and have to work ur way up to these archetypes?
Cuz I really want those two archetypes like soon, possibly at the very beginning. :gun:

All archetypes are unlocked at start i believe you just unlock different clothing as you level, because they did say you use archetypes to work off of

According to Wraith and his game guide, you have to unlock the anger and I think it's like level 20.

That's the highest level in the game, by the way.

You have to unlock them. Btw, nice original choices of archetypes.

That, "by the way" was directed to the OP.

Link? I don't know about that I do know that challenges unlock weapons. Leveling up unlocks abilities and clothing... Also from what the Devs said apparently you won't unlock everything in a play through of each side. So that leads me to believe that you will unlock stuff by playing the game and doing various things (IE awesome pakour move, or a great defense on a certain level.)

Actually it's "The Jesse"

Jessi or jessie is the correct spelling for someone with the name that is female.

You unlock weapons and attachments through challenges.

Clothes you gain with rank.

Anger/Freak archetype unlocks at level 20 so no wave of Angers at level one.

Bug is level 1.

There was a video up of the customization earlier that got brought down.

When you make a character, you didn't pick an archetype, you picked a facial one and some features. The character was wearing some basic clothing. There were pieces of clothing locked that said he needed more xp for. However it was hard to tell what you start with since he said he had already leveled a bit.

The Jesse could have turned out better. They got the hat somewhat close, but he wore a long-sleeve. Oh well. I'm going to create my own Jesse Minigun character.

My thoughts exactly. I'm definitely going to stray from using those 2 archetypes and i'm hoping i'll see at least one other person on the battlefield who does too.
