How to install the female body replacer

Post » Mon Apr 11, 2011 9:26 pm

So Im trying to install these races for my girlfriend and I have no idea how to do it. I have the Oblivion mod manager and no idea how to use it. Its far to complicated for me, when I go to load a mod its like there is no oblivion mod manager installation like their used to be when I used it.

I dont even know how to install it manually. The instuctions made no sense. I dont want to attempt and it not work and then not be able to find out which files I need to delete afterwards.

Read http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/449239-oblivion-mods-faq/. It's good information for people just getting started with mods.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24078 is excellent and comes with an excellent installer. Hard to go wrong.

If you have OBMM (OBlivion Mod Manager) up and running, then I recommend you install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24078 through that. It's easy to install with its script. Just follow the instruction in the Description and Readme.

Does Oblivion Mod Manager work? If so click on create OMOD, click on add archive, select the mod in your download folder you wish to convert. you will get a warning about the file having multiple directories/files in sub packages. Just click yes when you are asked if you wish to continue. you should get a pop-up telling you that an OMOD script is available, would you like to import it? click on yes and then wait for OBMM to do its work.
For a manual install read and follow the directions in the readme file. You will need one hand mesh , one foot mesh, one upper body mesh, and one lower body mesh installed into Oblivion\Data\meshes\characters\_male. you need to install all of the textures into your Oblivion\Data\textures\characters. The download should have pictures to help you choose the upper and lower bodies you prefer. the thing that makes fixing a mistake easy is that all of the meshes go into the same folder and will overwrite each other if you dislike the in game results.
