hi. am trying to delete a post as i just figured out my problem.

I have found the Bash installers folder as required by step 3 but am lost on step 4, completely. Can someone expand on this. (I have no clue where this Bash.ini is. And as for 'copy and rename the Bash_Default.ini' I would love to but I cannot find that either. Only thing I can find is a Bash_Default file through a directory in my MOPY folder.) I really just need a little hand holding and direction on this

Seems you found it just fine. :yes:

The Mopy directory is where a lot of your crucial Wrye Bash stuff lives - the ini, the launcher, and so on.

If you don't have file extensions visible in Windows Explorer (you probably should make it so, IMO) then "bash_default.ini" will appear as simply "bash_default", I guess. It's been that long since I ever had them at default (i.e, invisible) that I forget exactly how it would go. But it sounds like that's how it looks.

Oh yeah, should be under Tools\Folder Options\View (the option to show all file extensions, among other things).

edit: Ah, you solved it yourself. Never mind this post then. By the way though, have you checked out the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35230 as well? It's very, very useful if you're new to WB. :thumbsup: I recommend going through that *first*, in fact.
