i hope daedra can be interesting this time

Also, when did you ever see a daedra that feared death? No daedra run except scamps and they usually run to get distance to shoot you again.

If I may nitpick - from Spirit of the Daedra:

We do not die. We do not fear death.

Destroy the Body, and the Animus is cast into The Darkness. But the Animus returns.

But we are not all brave.

We feel pain, and fear it. We feel shame, and fear it. We feel loss, and fear it. We hate the Darkness, and fear it.

The Scamps have small thoughts, and cannot fear greatly.

The Vermai have no thoughts, and cannot fear.

The Dremora have deep thoughts, and must master fear to overcome it.

I agree with your post, though, and for the purposes of gameplay, frightened Daedra are probably not something anyone would expect to see.

..I'd like to see a Vermai...that sounds......win

Daedra where already interesting, but Oblivion and some parts of morrowind made them generic enemies gameplay wise, though in my early days of morrowind I was scared as hell to fight Dremora :bolt:

I guess he's just saying -moar personality please- why was Battlespire, Redguard and Daggerfall all able to portray Daedra persona so well for their time and better than Morrownd and Oblivion?

I want to see daedra appear in dungeons in a more interesting manner. Rather than they only exist because of a cult of conjurers, who are pretty bland, I'd like to see a few have their own dungeon, no conjurers needed, a few powerful conjurers with a dungeon primarily deadra not a cult of conjurers, and the dungeons in which they inhabit to be more frightening with corpses littering the ground and such. You saw a few dungeons like this in Morrowind, which was nice. But in Oblivion they only existed in or around oblivion gates, or in a conjurer dungeon which were boring.

As for changing the daedra, I don't want much change. They were already interesting, and they can improve but it shouldn't be drastic. If its a change that fits with established lore, I'll be fine. If it changes lore significantly, I'll probably be upset.

A Morrowind amount of daedra would be good. Golden Saints please!
Really? By the time I was level 15, half the enemies were daedra.

Personally, I want it like OB's, without going to Kvatch. There are pockets of daedra here and there, but 80-90% of the enemies are other things. Also, new daedra this time.

I don't think we'll ever see the end of all that you want.

Because Daedra were so uninteresting in previous games, right? I don't get why you were unsatisfied with everything because that's all your topics are ever about. I'm always under the impression that you don't even like TES games.

This. Though I have to admit, I wish dremora were more demonic and daedra in general scarier.

More varied appearances would be nice for all creatures, just reskining them a few times would be way better than having every single scamp or clannfear look the same. Also it would be cool if they had different summoning animations depending on which realm they came from.

Paragraphs are your friend. I have a real hard time reading it. But I do agree with you.

I wasn't aware that the Daedra have been uninteresting thus far. Huh, you learn something new every day.
