Revolver Power

I personally love my Ceaser revolver I got from the amazon pre-order(Same stats but different look than the Ritchie revolver). I find that though they have tremendous recoil with the right aim and a steady trigger finger you can take out a medium in about 4 shots, which is useful considering it’s a Light secondary. If you enjoy the Rockstedi you should really try out the revolver its better than you think.

Are they practical with a COGA scope? I saw some guy using it on thebrink.tv's live stream. I also saw a lot of Ritchie-spamming in general, and it never seemed to go well for the spammer.

there's a revolver that wasn't from the pre-order - am i wrong in assuming that it seems to have a "knockdown" added effect? provided I can actually HIT them with a round :P just seemed like they'd fall when I shoot them with the revolver

I keep the Revolver as my secondary as a Light. I love using it on enemies I know are around the corner, because a few shots off and they're dead. Sometimes, if I see someone with a fourth of their health left, I can snipe them from pretty far away. It isn't all that bad at taking out Turrets, either. Needless to say, I like it a lot more than any of the other pistols.

It seems more like 2 rounds to a medium for me. No, they don't have a knock down effect, at least not in my experience. They're really sick weapons, but the WILL throw off your aim by a good degree. Revolvers are essentially the handheld version of the Dragonov, http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RevolversAreJustBetter

I was going to say, they're different. But, then I realized I had a muzzle on my CR, that's what made it more Stabile then the Ritchie. So, yeah nvm they're both the same. I never tried the Ritchie, I like the CR too much (cause it's exclusive, yayness! :) )

Personally, the only pistol in the game that I've found useful at all in combat is the Tokmak with an extended mag. It's accurate, has an extremely fast rate of fire (as fast as you can click your mouse, pretty much), and seems to do more damage than the others, on top of having a 27 round mag with the extended magazine attachment. It even does better than the machine pistol, which is pretty sad...

I like ALL the pistols, but until I can actually go on PS Store for my exclusives, I'm sticking mostly with the Bolgo to keep in practise.

Also, I have the "rapid fire" upgrade on my Ritchie, just because it's funny.

This may seem kind of unrelated question at the moment, but I pre-ordered Brink in Gamestop last year when we were just hearing about it in Ohio. So does that mean when the PS store comes back up I'll have exclusives to pick up as well? Just wondering.

Also, the knockdown effect I believe Exile is talking about is with the Engineer, I was just playing today, doing an escort challenge with the in-game revolver, I believe it was the Ritchie, and I had just buffed my damage before peeking around the corner of the bot and shooting a guy that was coming around a crate, and he did indeed, from the single bullet, fall down before I shot him again. So I know what he's talking about.

I love using the pistols for when I sneak around behind a group of people. They're fun as heck. I don't want to go head to head with them, but I don't mind giving up an smg for a pistol every now and then. Not toward the end of the match though, the AI seems to ramp up then.
