Just curious as to what activities everyone else wants to do in Skyrim, and how interested they are about it

I think some activies are introduced in the tutorial, just like the alchemy stuff was introduced in Oblivion's tutorial.

I'm most excited about Blacksmithing and Cooking, but I can't wait to try everything. :)

When were any of the above "leisure" activities? Playing a game in a tavern would be one thing, but these are just jobs.

To answer your question though, the player will probably just have to apply for the job to see how it works.

I hope we will have to discover them. I am most excited about blacksmithing, cooking, and (if they include it) fishing.

Enchanting items with different effects, finding and experimenting with alchemical ingredients, and smithing weapons and armors.

That's where my free time is going.

I reckon they need surgery....
cause even a cnecromancer needs some cash!
plus you could heal townsfolk and gain good rep (or deliberately kill them in the operation if you don't like them...)

Does dragon hunting count as a leisure activity?

I think people will get confused between the title of the topic and the poll you have made (i.e. golf, lols :P ). I would say out of the things we get to do in Skyrim I am looking forward to blacksmithing the most. I am sure they will all be fun though... although not very leisurely.

probably will just hunt them down ourselves, though it's quite likely that there'll be a quest or two that'll involve them.

*oblivion spoilers: remember the Thieves guild quest in Oblivion to find Theranis and the book he stole? where you had to take a job in the castle in order to get access to the prison cells? end spoilers*

well I'd imagine we'd see a lot more quests like that, except instead of a pretend job, you'd have to take an actual job, perhaps even working for several days. In fact, though it's most likely just wishful thinking, there could be multiple ways to complete a quest based on your various professions. Say for example you're trying to burgle a castle, well you could sneak through a convoluted tunnel, fighting skeletons and whatnot, or, if you're a skilled chef, you could get a job cooking in the castle kitchens. Heck you don't even need to have quests to make this handy, just regular thievery could benefit greatly by having a cover job that gets you into all sorts of places.

oh and in regards to your poll option, I'm most interested in woodcutting, tough I doubt it'll live up to my hopes. I'd like to be able to actually chop down trees, so that, say if i'm really bored one day, I could deforest an entire region if I felt so inclined. I think it'd be neat to see a permanent reflection of your actions.

Skyrar, well they shouldn't be getting confused because golf is obviously off topic.
I reckon for me Dragon Hunting wouldn't really count because they are random arent they?

Pyro Monkey, I never really thought of a permanent reflection of your actions by chopping trees. It does seem like a great idea but will definitely take away some of the immersion when venturing through said forest, in my opinion.
