Torch Mechanics - keep lit on ground.

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 7:55 pm

there was a mod called drop lit torches and some variations of it for oblivion and they came out early on so i imagine it will be one of the first mods for skyrim if they dont have it on by default. thank god for mods. :)

This may be a make or break for console users. So much so, that if is not in the original release, I may have to go the way of the PC version when the mod is available.

It would be great, especially now since we may not be able to block/parry with just one weapon equiped.

That info was from an unreliable source as i recall.

...
Sounds good... Arx Fatalis had this somewhat.

Good idea. But what about combustible ground?
Lands of Lore 2 had this... where you could cast 'Spark' on an oil pool, and ignite it... enemies treading over it would be burnt/killed.

I always played with that mod, what a life saver. :icecream:

I do hope this is part of the vanilla Skyrim, but if not I'll keep my fingers crossed for a mod.

Ah, yes.

I remember a mod named 'Brighter Drop Lit Torches with Weight'. It proved to be very useful for my pure, two-handed, Nord warrior. I hope this is available to console users as well.
