Body Size

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 4:19 am

Will Skyrim feature an editing tool for height and weight? Or will it be like Oblivion and Morrowind where each race and gender had a preset height and an automatic six-pack?

I believe some sort of body customization has been confirmed, I don't know to what extent though.

Nothing confirmed, but since there is that big burly looking nord in the tavern, I think it's safe to say that it will most likely be in.

Pretty sure different body types were confirmed, I could probably locate a source if I weren't using a damn iPod touch lol.

sliders would be amazing, although i dont know how they would work with armour, and they'd be very intensive

Body customization has been confirmed, but that's all we know.

Here it's hinted that for the "extreme stuff" the Creation Kit is needed:

That was obvious though. They don't want too extreme sized "female stuff" in by default, and too big sizes would likely cause clipping errors with the clothes and armor too.

My character is certainly going to be...big, and not in the healthy way...with mods or not. :hehe:

Personally, I'll be surprised if it's more than "pick body type: buff, slim, stocky".

Hopefully, there will be variations within each race, and not "every Nord is a bodybuilder", "every Breton is skinny", and "every Bosmer is short and annoying"....except for the last one, which everyone knows is true. :hehe:
