Joining Imperial Legion

I vote yes, but I'm sure it'd be an enforcing officer, or a soldier/fighter for a certain faction. More so than Oblivion's Fighter's Guild, of course.

It would be nice if the Imperial Legion conflicted with Thieves Guild, or at least realted, like stealing something as a thief, and then trying to find it as a law enforcer.

Rebel resistance for life~

But I wouldn't mind a joinable faction out there actually trying to stop me. Makes things entertaining, and adds for more playthroughs.

I hope not. The empire has fallen and hasn't had a king for 200 years. Skyrim is having a civil war and having the imperial legion would be dumb. I want Skyrim to have it's own set of guards/soldiers to give it a more unique feel.

I'm not saying I want it to be like oblivion with The Legion running the show but maybe a fort or two would Be perfect

Yes, even it it's just a small group, since the legion will almost not exist due to the emprie crumbling, it would be awesome,

As a loyal Imperial my character would join the leagions almost by default lol. To be honest I pictured Cyrodillic Legions as fighing forces of the pro empire side, just made up mostly of Nords.

I voted yes. I would join the Legion if given the option. I can imagine the kinds of troubles they would have in Skyrim with the civil war and what not, No doubt they would provide us with plenty of interesting things to do.

I remember reading somewhere that there is a section of the legion guarding over the Imperial Highway leading into Morrowind, so, if that's correct then they will be in the game, and I would personally like for them to be a join-able faction. We really have no idea what kind of place the Empire is anymore. It's been over 200 years since the events of Oblivion, and 150 since the events of The Infernal City. The Empire was starting to get back on it's feet after Mede took the thrown, but he is dead now, and we know nothing of the current Emperor. Joining the legion could be a good way to get some insight into the state of the Empire as a whole, and could be very interesting.

Yes please!! The Imperial Legion was the coolest "faction" besides the Dark Brotherhood(even though that wasn't too involved). I would love to see this in Skyrim, especially seeing how it would play out with the whole civil war thing :D

More factions, more opportunities, more choices is always a good thing. If the faction doesn't fit my particular character's motives, she won't join, but it's nice to know those opportunities are there for a more diverse experience from new characters down the road.

The reduction in factions was one of the things I was disappointed in for Oblivion. Bring a plethora of both lore friendly, and potentially new factions back.

Exactly what I read too and was mentioning earlier - http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Windhelm

I don't know though if this info is outdated for the time that the Skyrim game will be set in. Can anyone clarify?
