Where can I find an already modded version of Oblivion?

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 2:51 am

Is there somewhere I can download a heavily modded version of Oblivion? I am looking for a copy that has the latest graphic enhancements (including that motion blur mod), all the UT mods, FCOM convergence, all the face and body mods, quest mods, that cool advanced fighting mod that let you chop off heads and bodies, the enhanced spells mods, the extra hotkeys mods, etc....

I want to find the most advanced 2011 version of this game that will work. Like as many mods as possible that will give me a completely new experience. 14 plus gigs lol.

I have an original boxed copy of the game from 2006 and loved it. I modded it in 2009 using all the latest mods at that time and had a blast with it. I completely changed the original game. I remember however that it took about 2 weeks to get the game working right with OBSE, FCOM convergence, Bash and all that. Eventually i modded it too much and broke that copy of the game forever.

I don't really want to go through the process anymore of modding a brand new install of this game - But if anyone knows where I can download or get a 2011 modded version of this game I would greatly appreciate it.

Send me a message with a link.

Thanks.

It really doesn't work that way. You have to do the legwork yourself.

I did. It is a long process to do it right. Don't have the time anymore. But it is such an incredible game when its modded. Also I don't have the internet speed I used to have. It would be difficult to get all the most recent mods.

I don't think there is a modded "version" of Oblivion available. You have to do it by yourself, you won't find an already modded Oblivion ready to be played. I'm sorry midfielder but as Morgana said, it doesn't work that way. You need to go through the installation process with the guides that have been written. It's not that hard if you know your grounds.

I'm afraid the only way to go about it is to mod it yourself. There's certain laws of copyright that prevent Oblivion from being distributed in the form you are talking about.

I went and bought the game the first day it came out in 2006. I have the GOTY edition and the big strategy guide (got them both when CompUSA was going out of business along with alot of other games). I own morrowind GOTY edition and even daggerfall. IM A HUGE ELDER SCROLLS FAN. Can't wait for SKYRIM!

Im just looking to save a lot of time by getting an already modded version...

However that may be impossible because the game has to be installed...

And that was relevant how?
There is simply no other legal way to get a hold of a modded Oblivion install unless you have a very generous friend that can go to your house and set it up for you. Just try installing mods again, read the Readmes and you'll be fine. :)

Indeed, even if there was a way to put most relevant mods into a single package, nobody is going to do it at this point. The problem is not if the game has to be installed or not, it's simply that there is not such thing as a heavy modded Oblivion installation or compilation of mods.

Well someone has to have a kick-ass 2011 modded version of this game that they spent months perfecting to get it to look right and play right. Can't someone send it in someway? I'll trust them that the mods they chose are great and work!

Heavy modded Oblivion easily weights more than 16 GB. Besides, as many others have said and mcc84 re-stated we can't redistribute the work of modders without their permission. Yes, many people have awesome ultra modded Oblivion games, but, with the implications it has, what you are asking for simply cannot be done.

Yes, it is. There are a lot of great FAQs (http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/449239-oblivion-mods-faq/) that can help you get started with modding your Oblivion game again, and this forum is a great source of knowledge if you need more assistance. That kind of help, we can offer gladly. But distribution of a pre-modded game is not a topic for discussion here.
