You know the Cash Register sound in FO3 when you get XP...

I wonder what sound they will use in Skyrim...perhaps coins, or maybe gemstones clinking?

While that cash register noise was very satisfying for Fallout... I don't think something similar would feel right

Well it's not an xp system unless I missed something in the new news so there probably wont be a sound.

You are right...maybe they should make the sound a generic one...until your character is defined more...than have it more suited to your character type. For instance, a DB type would earn a knife slashing sound, while a magician might get a poof noise, like a spell going off.

You improve skills to level up, not gain xp. Plus while it works for fallout(like liu said) it would just feel off in a TES game.

It should be that "aaaaahhhhhh" sound from Morrowind when you level up skills.
