When I put on Rasheda's Special gauntlets my hands disappear and it replaces my greaves. Anyone have an idea on what is missing or wrong and how to fix it? The perks appear as usual but I am wearing different greaves. Could some texture or mesh be missing or in the wrong place? This is the only piece of armor that seems to be affected as far as I know. It is a minor annoyance but I would like to have my hands back.

From the description it appears that the form has been pointed at the wrong mesh. I suspect your character has two pairs of greaves at the same time, rather than getting them replaced.

It's unlikely the original has been corrupted, so this would have to be a mod (probably intended to just retexture). If you can find out which one, it would be relatively easy to fix in the CS, just by pointing to the correct mesh. Since male and female have separate meshes, it's also quite likely that this problem only affects one gender, so another possibility is to give your character a six-change.

Thanks ghastley. I thought that is what it might be. I'll check it out and see what I can find. I don't have very many armor and clothing mods loaded so it should not be hard to locate. You are right about two greaves equipped at the same time because it looks like maybe steel greaves on top of chain greaves. I don't think I'll change her six because it is not a big deal and the perks are nice to have but not really necessary.
