Unnessesary Violence Issue

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 2:48 am

Okay so this mod is giving me some issues. I thought it was supposed to give different fighting animations. All Ive gotten is punching, kicking, and throwing swords. When I punch you can see my hands but my arms disappear. Ive installed the NIF thing and the pluggy thing that he requested in the mod, but when I start my game it still gives me the FFP error.

UV is a great mod, but you may need the older versions of the mods that are needed to support UV. Use the versions current to the Original date of UV. They are still available, but hard to locate. I am personally waiting for the new version of UV-Unnecessary Violence II.
You need PyFFI 2.0, Blender 2.45, and Python 2.5 to support the Nifscript used for UV. Look for the work in progress thread Unnecessary Violence II + I'm back! for an explanation what happened to the author of UV.
EDIT 2-22-2011 Disregard the PyFFI,Blender,and Python comment,see post # 4.

I did some research, because I wanted to reinstall UV myself, I downloaded the most current NifSE, NifScript DUMMY, and the latest Beta of OBSE.
I disabled the FFP in the UV ini to eliminate the missing body parts, but some solutions to this are covered in the readme if you want the FFP.
I had to remove a few animation replacers to get the special attack animations as per the readme for UV, but I edited them and reinstalled them to have the UV animations for the attacks, but keep the non attack animations.
