Big UI for PC users

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 10:41 pm

Hi everyone,

I would like some opinions on the topic UI.
I use a flat tv 42" connected to pc on full hd. Many PC games have a UI too small to be viewed from a distance because they are designed to classics monitor. Oblivion did not have this problem and I know that skyrim will have different interfaces for PC and console, according to you will be able to enlarge the size of the UI without having to lower the overall resolution?

I agree hell many PC ui are too small for higher resoulutions with wide screens. i always felt that PC UI should be 100% scaling so it can handle high resolutions.

yeah the pc ui should scaling on higher resolutions, i need to sit near the tv to play some titles without blind my eyes. I hope that on skyrim the UI will be scalable or editable with the ini file...

Sure just as long as a hud that looks made for 320x200 isn't the only option.

The UI of oblivion for a normal pc monitor was too big, i agree, but if they give us the option to chose normal or big size of it it will let the player play also on big tv screens

I hope we get options too. Morrowind's UI worked great on my old CRT and sill works great on my current widescreen. Oblivion's UI was a disaster.
