An alternative to Beautiful People.

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 10:15 pm

I am getting back to modding and have finished installing quite a few mods and need a little help. I need a new race as the vanilla ones are kind of boring. I have a couple of ideas and one of them was BP (beautiful People) I like the mystic elf race but i have heard a couple of times that its a little outdated. If so i was wondering what other races people are using? just to clarify i do not play female chars so that's not an option. I was thinking of Elves of Lineage (pretty sure there's males there)? any ideas?

Speaking of http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16843... I suppose that would be another one to suggest.

How many races is that? thats a pretty big file there. 430mb

Xenius Race Compilation contains many races, several of which contain male versions.

i wasn't a fan of the males. the guy/gal who made that mod didn't really play males and was an after thought. thanks anyway

Blood Witchers
looks to be a little on the Gothic side but i may give it a try. thanks

The Race Balancing Project may be the one i was trying to remember. Does it change to Brithsigns to be different? and it looks like the Mystic Elf from BP is included also. And its compatible with FCOM!!! I think i'll start with that one

EDIT: also i already have TNR. guess i will use RBP as that has TNR already included. Thanks everyone for the help. if anyone else has any other suggestions then im happy to have options for the future!

Yes, it's a HUGE file. Overall there are somewhere around 30 races. But most are variations of existing Vanilla races.
If you are looking to play a Male character. XEO male's are known to be a little on the femmy side. Just happens that way when you want pretty women. The male's get affected too since they share the same head mesh. BUT, on the plus side XEOSP added much more "rough looking" facial textures to males as opposed to the older XEO versions.
If you want some rugged males, check out WAC. Lots of awesome beards and facial hair variants! You would need to ask the FCOM team if WAC is compatible though.

is TNR compatibly with XEOSP? Or is XEOSP like TNR? what i mean is does it effect all the NPC's also?

As long as you use a bashed patch, it should be ok. Otherwise it would conflict.

Yes, XEOSP will effect the appearance of all NPCs in Cyrodiil and Shivering Isles.

TNR and XEO will always conflict, as far327 said, they both affect (almost)all stock NPC faces. I mean, even with bashed patch, you cannot use both simultaneously.
