I hope they don't show to much at E3

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 3:16 am

I hope they just give some hands on to people that are at the show but not demo it like they do every year and have someone capture it on video for the world to see.

They kinda ruined the begining of Fallout 3 because we all got to see the footage of our main guy walking out of the Vault for the first time at E3 08. I also remember seeing the begining of Oblivion way back in the Fall of 05 and kinda took away the excitment for me in March when it was finally released.

I know I don't have to watch any videos that are posted but WHO has the will power to do that? haha

Lets hope they do more of what they are doing this week where they give hands on to gaming sites and have them write there impressions rather then flood us gamers with a ton of footage.

Wouldnt you rather run into your first Dragon and see its animations and how the fight goes down the first time you play the game in November? I know I would.

The beginning is already spoiled, and there's no chance that they won't show off for E3, dragon battles included.

I couldn't agree less. Plus, there will be no hands on demo at E3 for the public. I want gameplay footage. Please.

Well, there is one option: Don't watch the Skyrim info at E3.

And yes, if you can't resist it its your own fault for being spoiled.

Well the begining isn't spoiled in the sense of us actually seeing what happens yet.

I know they will show footage at E3 but I just hope its not to much thats all.

Indeed, in fact, they've already shown a dragon battle in the gameplay trailer, admitably, I don't know how well that represents what actual dragon battles will look like in the game, but it's obviously in-game footage, and there's a dragon fight, even if some parts of it are staged.

Bethesda is obviously not going to let such a good oportunity to show off the game to the public slip by, they want to build hype for it, after all, and what do you think builds more hype? Seeing the game in action, or hearing people talk about seeing the game in action? I may not speak for everyone here, but for me, the former is certainly more exciting than the latter.

What if there are no werewolves to show? As far as I know, that hasn't been confirmed yet.

I think you'll be disappointed then.

I'm hoping it'll be something like that one Oblivion trailer where they went around and talked to people and showed off the AI and things like that.

I understand where the OP is coming from. I don't want to see too much. Just a little. Let me discover everything else on my own. Don't show us a whole quest or the whole beginning of the game or something crazy like that. I don't even want to see a dragon fight any more than what the trailer showed (which was the perfect amount, in my opinion.)

We should see gameplay though. At least too see the game on motion and a little combat.

And Bethesda's, they know how irresponsible their fans are :S They should discipline us until 11/11/11

I agree. Except for the argonian part...I think they'll show them at E3.

Why? All besides Werewolves in that post have been confirmed, and just because Werewolves aren't yet doesn't mean they will not be included.

No. People who can't resist themselves shouldn't spoil it for people who want to see as much as possible.

I don't think they're going to show werewolves and polearms in an E3 demo. Definitely not werewolves.

If you don't want it ruined then ignore the Skyrim stuff and E3, problem solved. If you care enough about not having it spoiled, you will be able to resist.
