World Map Problems

I have installed over 100 mods so far and have no clue what is making this happen http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19693609/ScreenShot1.jpg As you can see cheydinhal west gate does not belong there. all the cities are like that. I would put my load order in here but i cannot remember how to make spoilers so if someone could let me know how to make spoilers that would help me help you help me :wacko: or if someone has had this problem before and has an answer to this. I also installed that map mod (this is prolly the culprit) that has like 30 combinations of maps with elsweyr, leyawyn, new roads and bridges, sutch, west roads etc.

if you are using an .esp file, try loading it last, else start using it and load the .esp file last in your LO. worked for me

...or use my http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35969 mod to handle the map for you. Gives you a correct map depending on your mods, and free world map zoom as a bonus - and it doesn't need to load any particular place either.

i had a esp'less map re-placer.

...or use my Dynamic Map mod to handle the map for you. Gives you a correct map depending on your mods, and free world map zoom as a bonus - and it doesn't need to load any particular place either.


That Mod is freaking amazing. all better and had every mod that i needed on the map (barthold, stirk etc) thank you both alot for the help.

EDIT: is there a dynamic map for Shivering Isles?

No, by the looks of it you had a map (perhaps one from my Elven Map Compilation) which requires the installation of an esp (from a different mod.)
But you have now been pointed to Dynamic Map which is essentially the replacement / update beyond that now defunct compilation. ;)

No.
Are there any mods that change the Isles enough to warrant a new map? (In terms of what the maps shows, not just the style.)
If you are using the Elven Map style, there is an Elven Map for Shivering Isles though.

Dynamic Map works for all maps, the SI map, Windfall, Better Imperial City map, etc. There have just not been made any map components for any of them, but if you now a mod that changes the map, there is just to create the map component and add it to the ini, and it will show up in that map.

But the zoom works for all of them of course.

Except Dynamic Map which just extends the map dimensions for you dynamically when you install/enable Stirk, but then DM is an esp too, so I guess you're right ;)
