crucified pose

I was typing this out and suddenly it disappeared. Doesn't look like it posted, so here it is "again".

After hundreds of hours with my character, just today, dead people are in the "crucified pose". I looked at this mod:

Auto-save and time (beta 0.995, 29 November 2009) http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=22136
Auto-save, clock, alarm, PurgeCellBuffers, and "crucified poses" remover run at intervals set in the INI file. An alternative to Streamline's auto-save, PCB, and "crucified poses" remover functions.

but don't want any of the other features than the fix for the pose. Can someone point me to a mod that allows me to just fix the "crucified pose"?

You can turn off everything else in the ini and just have it handle crucified poses. BTW, you're missing Mart's Monster Mod.esm. (And should really update both OOO and MMM, but that's another matter.)

Thanks for your help...I need it.

I'm so new to mods that even though I read through the FAQ and other info, I still don't get things right all the time. So, Mart's Monster Mod.esm needs to be checked along with Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esm? I'll do that then.

The latest MMM is 3.7b3PR3. Here's the release thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1165282-relz-martsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz/.

Note that you have to uninstall your current version of MMM first if updating to 3.7b3PR3, as the latter has switched to a bsa (i.e. all resources are contained in a bsa-archive). It's worth it, though.

Mart's Monster Mod.esm
Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esm
Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp

Not sure what you meant with the last question - MMM comes with MMM for OOO files, if that was what you meant.

What I think I mean :unsure: is:

when I downloaded OOO, I don't remember downloading MMM also. So did MMM come with the download of OOO, or did I just forget downloading MMM?

I'll go read the threads and download the updates. I played vanilla Oblivion about a year after it came out, no mods, and I actually leveled up as much as I could (not knowing that wasn't a good idea). The game was very hard but lots of fun and I completed the main quest and most side quests (for a good person). Now the game is a LOT more fun, with mods and I know I've barely touched them. But first I'll go and try to get what I have updated and correct.

No, they're separate mods but it's an excellent combination. I'd recommend MMM's More Wilderness Life as well. It's an optional plugin that comes with MMM adding spawn points to otherwise empty areas in the game.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400 has an option to fix the crucified dead NPC's. It's a well known bug.

I downloaded and tried Streamline a few weeks ago (hadn't had the crucified dead problem yet), read all of the read me info, but wasn't able to make my game run better. Instead, despite the recommended changes, my game ran slower. My computer isn't the greatest for Oblivion and slower was not a good thing. I couldn't seem to get Streamline to allow the things that I disabled to stay disabled. That is where I read about the crucified pose though, so at least I knew it wasn't only my game that was haunted. Since I wrote the original post, I only had one 'standing dead' and I whacked him with my sword and he's not standing anymore. ^_^

And Arkngt, I made the recommended changes and played for an hour and all is well. I do think it was worth it and I really like More Wilderness Life. The more the better, as long as my computer can handle it.
