Bethesda wants to bring Skyrim mods to Consoles

Pete just said on twitter that 90% of the audience on the console "probably isn't far off". No wonder they want to get the Kit on consoles.

Not true. Obviously you have never, ever installed a mod or only a texture replacer. Its not "replacing" textures like overwriting the files. Its more of a redirection to alternate files with the orignial files still being intact. Those original files are packed in .bsa files anyway. So stop posting untrue things.

This is only if you've installed one mod that touches on an area of the game. Some mods may overlap in this regard, so you might not break the original texture at best, but one mod would overwrite another. Again, who is going to QA this. I get that the consensus on what is reasonable for the console to actually get would have to be a manually limited selection, but who is going to do that work? The only way they can guarantee that mods can't break things is to QA each and every one of them, or make it so that the system itself filters this out by limiting the capabilities.

Now... which would you think that a company would do? QA, debug, and cross-check tons of files that contain intellectual property of other people and be legally forced to distribute them for free, or set up the system so that you don't have to QA anything because nothing that is loaded can break anything and then not support it? I'd say that since they don't stand to gain from this monetarily, and open themselves up to problems with advlt content, racist content, whatever content if they don't check every file, that its just not going to be worth it to them to allow a fully free and creative system to have any portal into their closed system whatsoever.

Ehh? some mods overwrite the files i not have installed i MAKE mods i was here since 2006 but lost my account due to the forum changes , so you say i am telling lies , i say you are a big lier.

You must umpack .bsa files to get your meshes, and textures folder or am i a lier?
and you replace those textures with mods , beautifull npc mods do replace the original textures , and not only those i use to replace and retexture a lot of clothes and even walls just to fit my taste , you have no idea what are you talking about and you say i am a liar , you are very rude i rather just ignore your offensive and ignorant comments.

I can even make just a texture and break the whole Kvatch or Chorrol or both if i want , i can do this in 5 minutes you want to try my mod to see if i am a liar?

If it was going to be so difficult, why would bethesda think about it in the first place? Come on people it's getting out of hand.It would be a breath of fresh air for console user's if it came about.
