In regards to third person...

Todd was quoted in one of the previews as saying "third person rivals other third person games", so it looks like third person is going to be a very viable option.

I guess I could try to keep an open mind about it, however, if I still don't like it then I'm going to change it more to my liking.

I would like to see a highly customizable third-person view that allows me to do over-the-shoulder as well as birds eye view ala Diablo or Baldur's Gate. IMO this simple addition would go a long way towards making Skyrim one of the best RPGs not only of our generation, but of all time

if they went to entirely first person perspective I wouldnt want to play TES anymore either because I would lose half my fun in not being able to check out how tough I look or what I look like when I am crippled (i really hope that ports over from fallout,....dont be hating Im just saying that was cool and realistic), plus I love seeing me in my new armor and wearing new items on my body lol
