for some reason i am getting the error message that says "you have an unknown version of oblivion. please check hhttp://obse.silverlock.org to make sure you're using the latest version of obse, then send an email to the contact addresses listed in the obse_readme.txt if this version if not supported in the latest release. (CRC = 83454CC2)". i have the GOTY version off steam at version 1.2.0416, as far as i can tell from the silverlock site my version on steam should be supported from v0017b on wards or is it just v0017b as i have the v0019b version, thanks for any help given.

That CRC is not what's expected for the 1.2.0416 Steam version. Does the game work if you run without OBSE?
You might want to run the executable through a virus scanner to make sure it hasn't been infected by something. If problems persist, do what the error message suggests - send us an email.
