Yellow blocks, green dead bodies, etc.

So I am fairly new to all of this..sorry if these are noob issues. I see yellow blocks, exclamation points for enemies, green dead bodies, and some characters are missing body parts. From what I've read I assume that its a problem with OOO or fran. I just don"t know where to begin diagnosing the problems, though. Help. Please!!

Most likely you've failed to follow the installation instructions regarding the resources for one or more of the mods you have installed as you are missing resource files. At least one of your mods comes with BSAs or loose textures and meshes that you have failed to install correctly. I know Frans comes with BSAs for a start...

If you are trying an FCOM installation, both links in my signature can be very helpful.

You did not install Martigen's Monster Mod properly:

-> You are missing/did not properly rename the BSA for the mod.

Please read the MMM readme and ensure the mod is properly installed.

If going for full FCOM, I strongly recommend you hold off on that until you are more experienced with modding this game.

Green bodies on death indicates that you're missing MMM resources as MMM has blood effects with its wounding feature. Fixed by following http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1165282-relz-martsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz/.

1. Go into your Oblivion/ Data folder.

2. Find the .BSA file named MMM.bsa

3. Rename it FCOM_Convergence_MMM

I had the same problem and this fixed it for me :)

EDIT: If you don't have the file you haven't installed MMM correctly!
