I want to replay the main quests for Oblivion and Morrowind, although I dont have a PC right now and I dont want to fill up my mom's computer with Morrowind mods. But Im playing some old games like Indigo Prophecy, Summoner, Arx Fatalis, Vampire Bloodlines, and getting closer to the end of Red Dead Redemption.

I'm playing Oblivion right now, been craving some Morrowind so I'll pop that open soon.

I'm not buying anything else. Skyrim will keep me busy for a long time, and I can buy all the other good games of the season at discounted prices once I get bored.

I'm might play Obliv soon enough; then again, it seems like it will be one of those games that I can return to even after playing the sequel.

Games I am playing/ will play before Skyrim drops are:
Oblivion,
Morrowind,
Witcher 2,
Hunted,
Bioshock 2 (again... :)),
Alice: Madness Returns!!!!! (holy crap you have no idea how long I have been wanting this game!),
Portal 2,
Dead Space 2,
and probably others.

What am I doing in preparation for Skyrim? Computer upgrade! Already my computer is pretty awesome.... but it can always be better so yeah. We already got the awesome LCD TV now, and a better HDMI cable for both the 360 and PS3 so it will be all pretty on the consoles. I already plan on taking a few days off of work, but until then I am working over time so we can afford maybe another tv (so the roommates can play without whining and interrupting me...), we are going to get the awesome cushy game chairs with the speakers in them, a mountain of snacks and caffeine, we're buying a copy for each of our consoles, and the two pc's so everyone can play at the same time without blood shed, we need to build an electric fence around the property with auto turrets so anyone who enters cannot interrupt us, and we need to get at least three generators so there will be no problems powering all of our consoles at the same time.......
You guys don't think that's excessive do you?

That depends. You better not go SLI/Crossfire.

On a related note, I probably will. I'm not blowing cash on two brand new $500 cards though. I built my current PC with a new 5850 inside and components that could handle a second. By the time Skyrim comes out 5850s will probably be $100 bargain bin stuff. If the game isn't as embarrassingly CPU-bound as Oblivion is, that money might be worth it.
