Cats and Dogs.

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 2:58 am

Hahahaha very true. Alright well I get to be tortured, but it would just really kill my immersion if there were cats and I couldn't ROLEPLAY (of course roleplay.. I wouldn't stomp a kitteh myself) a mean Nord that likes to snap little bitty kitty bones :P

Dog companions would be cooler. But of course if there are dog companions, might as well have a kitteh companion. Even though it will just go off on it's own and sleep behind the sofa, hissing at you whenever you try and extend your love to it.

/traumatic childhood experiences with cats.

Well, if that's your experience, I'll be a little more understanding. However, I'd like to point out that I was attacked by a couple of dogs as a child, thankfully not seriously hurt, but I still love dogs... Some cats aren't very friendly--they certainly have their moments. But I still find cats often more loyal and loving than many humans I've met. But that's just different experiences. Maybe one day you'll meet a cat who will steal your heart...

Oh, and as for the torture--don't worry, I promise that you will live through it...

Even when they're chewing on your books, lol

I refer to fang marks in my books as "kitty staples" :D But yeah definitely need some housecats in Skyrim to add flavour. It would render the classic RPG rodent-related early quest redundant too, and that's no bad thing :D

Kitty staples--I love it. I'll have to use that now, too, lol. ^_^

There are worse things than dying! Also I wouldn't be too quick to run to kitteh for love over humans :). There's only so much loyalty and love an animal can show.

But anywho.. I just might have to role as a Dunmer and keep a bunch of Khajiit in my basemant as slaves. Same thing as a pet cat right?

(Okay, I know I'm gonna get myself killed for saying this, but...) The Khajiit are tougher than the Dunmer. I mean, http://saveandquitgaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/1303134147-fP98c_preview2.jpg

It's cool to have the sabre-toothed tigers, but it's not the same as a regular domesticated housecat. I would love to see regular cats in the game. I know it's not likely to happen, but I wish I could have a pet kitty in TES.

I wish there were domestic cats too. I am a big cat lover and it would be nice to see one wandering about my player home, just like my cat wanders around my home.

If we have pets in the game (which would be awesome), I'd love to see some sort of feline. A domesticated house cat as a pet would be FANTASTIC, even though it couldn't fight. (Or maybe it's a highly-trained cat who could take down a giant with a single swipe of its claws...)

In that case I'd like a trusty bat on my shoulder to be my eyes and loving companion (The only one guaranteed to be spared by me).

Give me two ferrets.

You could tie them in a pretzel!

My vote's in for both of them. I'd have a cat to lounge around the house and do cat things and a dog to come out with me on hunting trips to get venison, granted his AI probably wouldn't do anything regarding hunting, but I'd pretend it did.

Dogs yes Cats I'm not sure. If the lore makes it fit then yes you could add them in.

Holy beans! I use to use the old version of that mod, even though there were issues with it, I have not played OB for a while, I did not know there was a new version and it seems to fix the issues with the old one, awesome!

Funny, I thought this was going to be about rain.

At any rate...what would kajiits think of people having pet kittens?

There is nothing in lore than doesn't allow for cats, as far as I know. And I'm sure the Khajiit wouldn't mind. They are probably about as closely related to a house cat as a human is to a chimpanzee... :teehee:

I can imagine some interesting special interaction action between Khajiit and housecats.
