I've seen a few mods floating around that have a traditional-Japanese look on their buildings. An example is the Katana shop mod. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was a coincidence that all of these Japanese buildings look similar or is there a Japanese tileset for houses out there somewhere? If there is, please tell me where I can download it and begin making my own Japanese homes in Oblivion.

I have not seen a mod of this. They may just be using Cloud Ruler temple pieces, I'm not sure.

I don't think so. They have full Japanese-looking exteriors. Cloud Ruler Temple is just one mesh and one shape. Maybe they're retexturing a tileset already in-game, but I don't think that's the case either.
