It will soon be the begining of the fourth era of gaming. A game has not been more inovative since the mexicans invented ball in a cup.

Are you insane? Do you really believe TESV is a true RPG.. NO, has beths games ever been a true RPG, No... Also Nintendo is announcing a console soon, and it will most likely be more advanced then 360 and PS3....

Yes, the Elder Scrolls is very much an open ended role playing game series. What did you think it was, a medieval shooter?
As for the OP... http://blogs.westword.com/showandtell/00cool%20story%20bro.jpg

Still, you are right that there might be something missing, but at this point it is science fiction. Because even if you could transmit information faster than light, you'd still have to decode it in some other device, which would compensate for the speed of the signal (as briefly mentioned in Bloody-TSI's article).

Well of course it's science fiction, but that doesn't mean the idea is completely impossible. We don't even know how entanglement really works, never mind how to control it. We're still just scratching the surface of the possibilities that quantum physics has to offer. There's also the possibility of using micro wormholes to transmit information between two points. We're certainly far more likely to develop a Faster Than Light system for communications than we are for our physical selves.

cool story bro
but meh the worlds ending 2012 anyway mabe this why just to give us alittle tiem to play skyrim

It's funny how so many people actually put stock in a 2000 year old prediction made by a race of Sun worshiping practitioners of human sacrifice. Being able to accurately track and predict the movement of heavenly bodies is indeed impressive for an ancient civilization but it hardly denotes a clairvoyance in any event that will occur 2000 yrs in the future as those bodies all line up a certain way. Especially coming from a group of people that believed the giant ball of fire in the sky demands virgin blood on a regular basis.

2014-15 is expected release date for the new Xbox and PS. http://kotaku.com/#!5794000/microsoft-and-sony-targeting-2014-for-new-consoles-leaving-nintendo-in-the-clear

the Wii 2 however is coming out next year, and it will be a more "hardcoe" platform as it once was which is being revealed at E3

As for the OP i think he is saying that games for the 360/PS3 atm is going to get a bit strange in those 2 years.. Alot of devs including Ubisoft is already speaking out against how old the tech is because they have little room to expand. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/04/11/ubisoft-wants-new-consoles.aspx

The next 2 years the downside of consoles will show, they already are now. Most devs have utilized as much as they can without blowing up in the homes.. what will come in result of this only time will tell but do not get your hopes up if you mainly play on one.
