Types of spells

Although I know there will be 85 or so spells, does anyone know how many spell effects there will be? Will it still be fire damage, frost damage, paralysis, disintegrate weapon, restore health, and the rest from Oblivion? I hope there are some new or returned effects like poison, levitation, telportation, and some interesting ones we haven't seen before.

Teleportation could be great for role players who don't want to use fast travel. On my RP character for Oblivion, I pretend the key I got for the one magic spire DLC thing can teleport me there so that I don't need to walk all the way around that mountain every time. Did it the first time, not likely going to happen again for awhile...

The coolest one I saw was one that kills instantly always. Especially on dragons. It's gonna be sweet

I'd have to sacrifice someone to Sithis if that were real.

I don't think anything other than a "Hold down C for flame thrower effect" have been mentioned.

I do hope that they come up with lots of ideas, though. I remember this one spell you could get with the Midas magic mod that would let you shoot missiles from your feet. Now how awesome was that? When I got attacked, I wouldn't even have to lift a finger, magic would just shoot out my feet and own some poor fool.

It was amazingly boss-like.

I would think that fast travel would be better for role players. They could make up all kinds of shenanigans that happened to them while they walked via fast travel. It's only fast for the player, not the character.

I've heard ther will be 85 spells, so I'm thinking different levels of fire damage, different durations for paralysis, different distances for Detect Life, and all that. I'd like to see different effects than the same old same old.

My guess:

Fireball, Fire AoE and Fire trap, the same for frost and shock, and the range of damage depending on PC level.
