Weird Flickering Glitch

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:28 am

Hello all, I'm encountering a weird flickering glitch in game.

I couldn't capture directly from screen, but I hope this camcorder footage captures the problem accurately for diagnosis.

The problem only started within the last few hours, but unfortunately, I have changed several mods within those hours:

OBGEv2 Core and Shaders
OBGEv2 Liquid Water
ENB Series
DarkUI Darn
Replaced OBSE 0018 with OBSE 0020

However, the problem has also occurred after I've uninstalled ENB series. Additionally, when the support Plugin and Water esp's are disabled, the problem still occurs. I do not know if there is anything else I need to deactivate in the meantime.

As a small aside, I also cannot see the misc item to control the support plugin in my inventory Or my COBL menu. I have double checked that I have the latest version of COBL and that both my OBGE.ini is NOT using shaderlist.txt (which doesn't even exist)

I hope you guys can help me because I'm completely lost. I'll be happy to post any further info you ask me for. Thanks.

May as well http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=know_how_to (second entry there).

Also, maybe try uninstalling (i.e., deleting) all OBGE and ENB stuff in \Oblivion and its subdirectories (e.g., Data, Data\Shaders, Data\obse\plugins, etc.) - start a game and see what happens then.

Hi,
You CANT use the ESP from the original OBGE v2 Shaders. The only way to have the Shaders now (with Liquid Water) is to manually edit the INI. NO ESP and NO shaderlist. Give the Read-me for liquid Water another Read.

Hope this helps. And yes always post Load order..

Hi all, I tracked it down - it is the Liquid water plugin, so I've uninstalled it. Yes, I did realise the mistake about checking both the support plugin and the shaderlist, so I disabled them both, but the problem persisted until I removed the files. It's fixed now. svcks that I'll have to find another water replacement as that one was beautiful, but oh well :( Thanks for your help!

Are you sure you followed the directions in the OBGE Liquid Water readme exactly? I haven't ever heard of that problem with it before, and you might not have to give it up if you just happened to overlook something installing it the first time.

Pretty sure, double checked the ini and load orders each time I installed it. And I tried full uninstallation and reinstallation twice. Took me a good couple of hours to do it very systematically, but still no joy. Thanks anyways.
