skills and perks

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:11 am

as i was reading an article about skyrim, i thought to myself how the perks would work in skyrim, and i came up with a theory, which is that as you level your skills, for example, archery, then you will be able to pick different perks, at lvl 25 you get a choice of perks, slow down time, zoom in, etc. and at lvl 50, 75, and 100.

You get to pick one perk every time you gain a level. One of the first things confirmed.

you get 50 perks. "50" is the "perk cap" persay, and you can level up indefinitely after until all your skills are 100.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/podcasts/archive/2011/02/03/toddhowardse.aspx will tell you a lot about skyrim including a ton of stuff about perks and what not. its an interview with todd howard, goes about an hour long.

Good to know you've researched the topic thoroughly before coming to such a conclusion.

*Sigh*

You do know that the perk system will be completely different from Fallout? Everyone has known this for MONTHS. It's like asking when Skyrim is going to come out..

No... It's not.

You get perks based on your skills. For example; in the 1h skill tree, there's a perk tree for swords, maces, and axes. Does that sound like Fallout to you?

Again, this has been confirmed for months.

You don't get XP in SR and there are perk trees in SR unlike FO, dude you really should just go to the Skyrim HUB on gameinformer and learn all the basics before posting. There are detail explanations of everything there.

Do you know about anything in Skyrim? You level up based on how much you increased your skills. This time however, there is no major and minor skills, so any skill levels you up, however, leveling up a skill from 60 to 61 will provide a greater xp increase than leveling up a skill from 10 to 11.

Google is your friend. Use it.
